More Than Yoga: How Habuild Is Making Movement a Daily Ritual for Millions

More Than Yoga: How Habuild Is Making Movement a Daily Ritual for Millions

“You don’t rise to the level of your goals, you fall to the level of your systems.” -James Clear

For Saurabh Bothra, it started with a simple goal: help people build better habits.

During the stillness of the pandemic, when the world was anxious and uncertain, Saurabh turned to what always anchored him - yoga. He started by guiding his mother through basic flows at home. Those quiet sessions became the seed of something much larger.

What does it take to spark a movement?

What began as a single online class soon grew into something powerful: Habuild - a platform that’s now part of morning routines across 90+ countries. With 97 lakh members, four world records, and 50+ in-person meet-ups across India, Habuild is no longer just a digital wellness platform. It’s a community. A movement. A habit.

And it wasn’t a solo journey.

Saurabh co-founded Habuild with his sister, Trishala, and his close friend and tech partner, Anshul. Together, they’ve built more than a platform - they’ve built a belief: that small, consistent actions can transform lives.

“We’re not just teaching yoga,” Saurabh says.

“We’re helping people reclaim control of their lives - one breath, one stretch, one habit at a time.”

Watch his story and feel the shift.

Small Steps. Big Changes.

Habits aren’t built by force, they’re built by flow. They’re built by showing up every day.

Whether it’s rolling out your yoga mat at dawn or making time for breathwork before bed, the act itself is less important than the commitment behind it. The aim is to start small, so small that saying no feels impossible. And once it becomes part of your identity, it no longer feels like work, it feels like you. When the mind and the body are invited gently, they stay for longer.

Habuild and TEGO are aligned in this philosophy: goals are exciting, but systems are sustainable. And the simplest system is a habit.

The Glue behind the Goal

It’s all discipline. Saurabh’s approach offers some universal takeaways for anyone looking to make a habit:

1. Make It Easy to Start

The reason millions have stuck with Habuild is that it lowers the barrier to entry. You don’t need fancy equipment, apps, or subscriptions. Just a mat and a few minutes. Consistency is the breath of any practice - steady, slow and mindful.

2. Show Up Every Day

You don’t need to do it perfectly. You just need to do it. Daily yoga practice may sound intimidating - until you realize it’s not about being extreme, it's about being steady. Saurabh teaches this through consistency, not pressure.

Habits don’t bloom from efforts alone, they bloom from devotion. Devotion to your path, your mat, and your will.

3. Make It Social

Habuild’s community is its superpower. When you know thousands of others are waking up and rolling out their mats at the same time as you, it’s easier to stay the course. The habits may start with you, but the community is what makes them last.

From Habits to Identity

Saurabh isn’t just a yoga teacher, he’s a habit architect.

He’s helped millions of people reshape their mornings, reclaim their energy, and reconnect with themselves.

And in doing so, he’s reminded us of something powerful: Your life is a reflection of your habits.

Want to feel better? Start with movement.

Want to focus better? Start with breath.

The next time you feel stuck or overwhelmed by the need to "do more," take a page from Saurabh’s book : Start small, and repeat it daily and the habit will take care of itself.
